Employee Assistance Program through ComPsych®

EAP is offered through a partnership with ComPsych® GuidanceResources®, a Chicago-based behavioral care firm. The program covers 12 libraries and approximately 965 employees.

Benefits include:

• 24-hour confidential phone counseling, including referrals to professionals;
• Counseling for employees and their dependents (maximum of five (5) prepaid visits per situation per year);
• Use of LegalConnect®, offering unlimited phone consultation with attorneys, including discounted rates for in-person representation;
Use of FinancialConnect, offering unlimited phone consultation with financial planners;
• Receive assistance for supervisory consultations, HR issues and critical incident debriefing services;
• Participation of your library's representative in the semi-annually employee assistance advisory committee meetings;
• Promotional materials to encourage employee use; and
• Workshops for participants whose subjects are determined by the advisory committee.
