NorthStarNet was a community information network and hosting service created to help libraries develop relationships with their local community groups by aiding those groups in establishing a Web presence.

Voter Registration @ Your Library

On Saturday, September 11, 2004 libraries throughout Illinois were encouraged to provide live voter registration at their library. Plans to facilitate this effort were made possible through a partnership of the North Suburban Library System and the League of Women Voters of Illinois, with the support of Prairie Area Library System.
