Reaching Out

In September, Dundee Township Public Libary District began a pilot outreach effort by hosting adult and children's programs at the West Dundee Public Safety Building, located about five miles west of the library. The first adult program on Sept. 12 featured interior designer Julea Joseph, and drew 72 attendees, most of whom had never attended a program at the library because of the distant location. In October, Flamenco dance company, Flamenco Triana, performed to a full house at the Dundee Township Public Library in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage month.
