"I Still See Her Haunting Eyes" Available

Local author Aaron Elster would like to make his book available to libraries. I Still See Her Haunting Eyes: The Holocaust & a Hidden Child Named Aaron by Aaron Elster and Joy Erlichman Miller, Ph.D., takes a unique and unflinching look into a boy’s fight for survival as a Jew in World War II Poland. Told in the voice of young Aaron Elster, this captivating account details how he escaped the Nazis and endured two years hidden in a cold, dark attic by a couple who reluctantly sheltered him. In his solitude, the boy questions why his mother abandoned him and his very existence in the world. Yet what haunts Aaron the man is the last time he saw his baby sister as she stood crying during the liquidation of his village. For more information or to order books, contact Aaron Elster, 847-567-0184, or email bookorder@aaronelster.com. [Permalink]
