Shedd Aquarium 75th Anniversary Featured on Library Cable Show

Take an exclusive tour of the John G. Shedd Aquarium from the comfort of your own home. The popular Chicago attraction, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary, is featured all during April on What's New in Libraries? , seen weekly on cable stations in over 70 communities throughout the north suburbs of Chicago.

Roger German, vice president of public relations for the Shedd, gives a VIP tour of the Wild Reef and the Oceanarium, featuring divers and trainers, as they work with and feed the Beluga whales.

Viewers will also a hear about discussion with Des Plaines Public Library Director Sandra Norlin and Noreen Lake, president of the library board, regarding recent issues associated with open access to library computers.
