Delivery service is now operating out of the new Bolingbrook service center located at 1000 W. Crossroads Parkway in Bolingbrook. RAILS has closed on the sale of the Shorewood building and is leasing a smaller space. When the office area is ready, former Shorewood PrairieCat staff will move to the new location. RAILS serves academic, public, school, and special library members in a 27,000 square mile area. RAILS provides delivery service, technology support for shared online catalogs, and Talking Book Services.
Resource Sharing Alliance (RSA) NFP LLSAP members attended a cataloging workshop on Wednesday, May 1 at the Chenoa Public Library District. The laptops and projection screen used during the workshop were purchased with the Eliminate the Digital Divide grant funds received by the Chenoa Public Library District in 2012.
